We are experiencing significant growth in merchant and payment processing volume, creating increased operational and compliance demands across the business.
This role exists to help protect the business from regulatory and compliance risk by reviewing vendor products, merchant funnels, and ongoing operational activity. The Compliance Operations Analyst plays a critical role in identifying potential issues, flagging risks, and supporting informed business decisions before problems escalate.
This is a highly operational, process-driven role focused on consistency, accuracy, and dependable execution.
Review vendor products, ingredients, labels, and descriptions
Identify prohibited claims or potential compliance concerns
Coordinate findings with leadership and external compliance advisors
Flag risks for internal review and decision-making
Conduct recurring reviews of active vendors and products
Monitor for updates or changes that may create compliance exposure
Maintain organized documentation and tracking within internal systems
Review merchant funnels and promotional activity, including:
Upsells
Cross-sells
Bundles
Promotional offers
Marketing claims
You’ll identify potentially non-compliant messaging while working collaboratively with Business Development teams to support merchant onboarding wherever possible.
Partner closely with Business Development during onboarding
Participate in daily compliance review discussions
Communicate compliance concerns clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders
Complete onboarding and process training
Learn internal review and escalation workflows
Begin participating in daily compliance reviews
Independently review products and funnels with minimal supervision
Maintain strong accuracy and organization under increasing workload
Build strong working relationships with Compliance and Business Development teams
Fully own day-to-day compliance operations independently
Reliably identify and flag risks with limited errors
Become a trusted operational partner across the business
Minimum 1 year of experience in a compliance-related role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable following structured, repeatable processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work EST hours consistently
Ability to remain calm and accurate in a fast-paced environment
Experience in fintech, payment processing, merchant services, or high-risk industries
Exposure to merchant onboarding or product compliance
Experience using CRM or workflow management systems
Previous remote work experience
