We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager to establish and lead a new Learning and Development division within our HR department. This role will play a critical part in shaping our company’s talent development strategy, ensuring that team members at all levels have access to growth and learning opportunities that align with our business goals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a Learning Management System (LMS), designing career paths, developing training programs, and supporting team members—including Heads of Departments (HODs)—in their career growth and professional development. Additionally, this role will oversee data collection and analytics for assessments, surveys, and performance appraisals, using insights to continuously improve our learning and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, select, and implement a new LMS that aligns with our organizational needs and goals.
- Design and deliver a range of learning and development programs, including onboarding, skills training, leadership development, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Create structured career paths for team members, enabling clear progression and development opportunities within the organization.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to team members, including HODs, to foster their career growth and ensure they reach their potential within the company.
- Lead the collection and analysis of data related to team members' assessments, surveys, and performance appraisals. Use these insights to enhance training programs and measure their impact on team member performance.
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to implement performance appraisal processes that support the development and engagement of our workforce.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Talent Management, or a similar role, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms and experience in implementing or managing an LMS.
- Proficiency in data collection, analytics, and performance metrics related to learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across different teams and levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing career paths and development programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
