The Technical Product Manager is a proactive and solutions-oriented professional who plays a key role within the affiliate marketing team. Acting as the essential bridge between Operations and Development, this individual ensures that ideas are effectively translated into action, with clarity, efficiency, and measurable impact.
They are responsible for managing project flows, converting operational needs into actionable technical tasks, and keeping both teams aligned, informed, and on track throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between the Operations and Development teams, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear, structured project briefs or tech tickets.
- Coordinate tech project timelines, priorities tasks, and track progress to completion.
- Identify blockers, flag technical constraints early, and proactively communicate risks or delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Run regular stand-ups, check-ins, and sprint planning sessions in collaboration with the dev team.
- Maintain documentation and updates for stakeholders, ensuring visibility and alignment across teams.
- Work with the CEO to scope out the feasibility and impact of new initiatives.
- Support testing coordination where needed, ensuring project quality and delivery standards.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Technical Account Manager, ideally in a tech-forward or affiliate marketing setting.
- Strong understanding of development processes, even if you're not a developer yourself.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills — you're a natural translator between "tech speak" and business goals.
- Comfortable using tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or similar project management platforms.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping everyone informed and on track.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and outcome-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with affiliate tracking systems, API integrations, or a SaaS platform is a plus.
